I am a Licensed, Registered, Board Ceretified Art Therapist and Psychotherapist, as well as a Professional Visual Artist and an Advanced Reiki Practitioner. I have a private practice in TriBeca, New York City. I work with individuals and run groups. I work with adults, adolescents and children. I also conduct individual and group supervision for professional art therapists. My specialties include: mood disorders, depression and anxiety disorders, trauma, PTSD, sexuality and gender issues, eating disorders, creative blocks, career issues, and relationship issues. I have an eclectic approach geared to the needs of each person. Besides psychodynamic traditional "talk" therapy, sometimes augmented with cognitive behavioral techniques, and art therapy with a broad range of materials, I also use sand tray and play therapy where appropriate. I recently started an ongoing art therapy group for people with eating disorders, body image issues and related issues.
